How an Import Project Works: Beyond the Spreadsheet

At Sourcify, each product quoted by a client isn't just a line in a budget. It's a complete import project, with a beginning, middle and continuity.

We start with the briefing. We understand the client's moment, the reasons for considering importing, what they expect from it and which products make more sense to focus on at that moment.

Then, we dive into technical specifications. What's essential in that material? What absolutely can't be there?

Next comes the international supplier search. A step we take with great care and depth.

When necessary, we request samples. We know that in many cases, validation only truly happens when the client tests that product in their production process.

Once validation is done, we move to the purchase stage, with performance invoice, payment management and production monitoring.

Our journey doesn't end with delivery. We make a point of talking with the client after arrival, understanding what worked and what can be improved.

That's why we call it a project. Because that's what it is: a joint construction, with strategy, clear goals and constant evolution.

Most importantly: we also know how to break down this process to fit each client's reality.
